Section 1: The president shall, subject to approval by a vote of the Board of Directors, appoint chairpersons for the following committees: Membership, Budget, Activities and Auditing. The Membership, Budget and Activities Committees shall be appointed by the first Wednesday in October. The Nominating and Auditing Committees by the first Wednesday in June.

Section 2: The Vice-President shall appoint the Facilities committee and these members shall be appointed by the first Wednesday in October.

Section 3: At least one member of each regular committee shall be a Board member.

Section 4: Neither the President, Treasurer or Purser may be a member of the Auditing Committee.

Section 5: The President and the Board, or the Board, may appoint any special committee.
