Black Powder
First, powder, patch, & ball. Now, cap your nipple or prime your pan. It sounds simple enough if you know the language that goes along with Black Powder shooting. And if you don't, maybe it's time to learn!

The point is that Black Powder shooting is a lot of fun, but has some people baffled into the idea that it is either some complicated science or mystical event. Being far from difficult, black powder itself is the simple original ingredient that made all the shooting sports possible today.

Most Black powder shooters enjoy the Keep-It-Simple (Stupid) approach, but part of the black powder experience is discovering that you can learn some tricks of the old art and get scientific if you want to. BP shooting is even within reach on a low budget for target shooting, hunting, plinking, and shooting with most any small group of shooters. Or, you can go nuts with the whole rendezvous circuit and travel across the country for re-enactments, competitive shoots, etc.
